Blackberry Cheese Straws

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup blackberry preserves
1 teaspoon agave syrup
1/2 teaspoon Distilled Chai
2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, minced
3 ounces herbed goat cheese
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 beaten egg
1 tablespoon raw sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small pot, combine preserves, agave, Distilled Chai and rosemary over medium low heat. Once the mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature; set aside.
Preheat oven to 375F. In a medium bowl, combine cooled blackberry mixture with goat cheese.
Spread the mixture over the puff pastry. Fold the pastry in half lengthwise; slice into 1/2-inch strips. Twist each strip 2-3 times and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush the twists with beaten egg and sprinkle with the sugar.
Bake 20-22 minutes, until golden and flaky.
