Egg Tart Al Pastor

Not quite quiche; definitely notta frittata. Brunch just got a whole lot more exciting with Distilled Al Pastor!

INGREDIENTS

1 rolled, refrigerated pie crust 

3 large eggs 

5 ounces garlic and herb goat cheese, at room temperature 

1/2 cup creamed corn 

2 tablespoons half and half 

1/2 teaspoon salt 

1 teaspoon Distilled Al Pastor 

2 tablespoons diced green chiles 

3 ounces diced Canadian bacon 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and parbake the crust in a tart pan until light brown, about 15 minutes. Allow the crust to cool as you prepare the filling. 

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and goat cheese.

  3. Add creamed corn, half and half, salt, Distilled Al Pastor, and green chiles and stir to combine.

  4. Sprinkle the Canadian bacon on the parbaked pie crust.

  5. Pour egg mixture over the Canadian bacon.

  6. Transfer tart pan to a sheet pan and bake until set, about 30 minutes. Cool the egg tart for 15 minutes before serving.
